Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about creating and managing agreements on Agreezy.
What is Agreezy?
Agreezy is a simple tool for creating lightweight, everyday agreements between two or more people. Think roommate deals, freelance gigs, borrowed money, favors with stakes, or situations where a handshake isn't quite enough but a lawyer is overkill.
Is Agreezy legally binding?
Agreezy agreements are not a substitute for legal counsel. They create a signed, timestamped record of what was agreed upon, which can be useful evidence of intent. For complex matters like real estate, wills, or high-value contracts, consult a lawyer.
How long do signing links stay active?
Free users get a 7-day signing window. Pro users can set a signing deadline up to 30 days. After the deadline, signing links stop accepting new signatures and we may delete unsigned agreements and related data.
How does signing work?
The agreement creator signs first, then shares unique signing links with each party. Each person signs on their own device by drawing a signature or typing their name. Once everyone signs, the agreement becomes active and a PDF export is available.
Can I export the agreement as a PDF?
Yes. Once all parties have signed, a PDF export button appears on the agreement page. The PDF includes all signatures, timestamps, and agreement details.
Do I need an account?
No account is needed to create or sign agreements. You just need an email address. Optionally, you can create an account to manage your agreements from a dashboard.
Is my data secure?
Agreements are stored with encryption at rest. Each signing link is unique and unguessable. IP addresses are hashed for privacy. Signing links deactivate automatically after the deadline you set.
What happens if someone doesn't sign?
The agreement stays in "pending" status until all parties sign or the signing deadline passes. You can share the signing link again as a reminder.
