1. Information We Collect

When you use Agreezy, we collect the following information:

  • Agreement Content: The title, details, and consequences specified in your agreement
  • Party Information: Names and email addresses of all parties involved
  • Signature Data: Digital signature images created on the signing canvas
  • Device Information: IP address (stored only in hashed form), browser user agent, device platform, screen resolution, timezone, language settings, and touch support capability
  • Optional Phone Number: If provided during signing

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Create and manage agreements between parties
  • Send email notifications about agreement status
  • Verify the identity and authenticity of signers
  • Maintain audit trails for signed agreements

3. Device Information Collection

When signing an agreement, we collect device information to help verify the authenticity of signatures and provide an audit trail. The following data may be captured:

  • IP Address: Your network address at the time of signing, stored only as a one-way cryptographic hash (SHA-256) — we do not retain your raw IP address
  • User Agent: Browser and operating system information
  • Platform: Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)
  • Screen Resolution: Display dimensions of your device
  • Timezone: Your local timezone
  • Language: Browser language settings
  • Touch Support: Whether your device supports touch input

4. Data Retention

Each agreement has a signing deadline selected by the creator (3–30 days). After the deadline, signing links become inactive. We may delete data associated with unsigned or incomplete agreements after the signing deadline, including:

  • Agreement content and details
  • Party information and email addresses
  • Signature data and device information
  • Audit logs related to the agreement

Fully signed agreements and their associated audit trails may be retained beyond the signing deadline for recordkeeping purposes. You are responsible for exporting agreements before they expire if you wish to retain your own copy.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only:

  • With other parties to the same agreement (limited to what's necessary for the agreement)
  • With service providers who assist in operating our platform, including Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (email delivery), and Vercel (hosting and analytics)
  • When required by law or to protect our legal rights

6. Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and cryptographic hashing of sensitive identifiers like IP addresses. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access agreement data you are a party to
  • Export signed agreements as PDF
  • Request deletion of agreements you created (subject to other parties' rights)
  • Decline to sign an agreement
  • Contact us with questions about your data

8. Cookies & Analytics

We use minimal cookies necessary for the Service to function. We set a persistent identifier cookie (agreezy_client_id) to track anonymous usage for free-tier enforcement. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to collect anonymized, aggregate usage and performance data. These tools do not use cookies and do not track individual users across sites.
